Commissions in the Somers Clinical Research Facility (CRF)
The Somers Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built, children’s facility at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
The facility provides specialist day care accommodation for children and young people taking part in clinical research studies.
The department commissioned a number of art and design features including:
- Sculptures by Tim Shutter for their outdoor play area
- Mixed media artworks by artist Erin Burns for the meeting room
- A large wall commission in the main reception, which brings together artworks created by children who took part in workshops led by Lucy Fergus
