In partnership with the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (ICH), Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is the largest paediatric centre in Europe dedicated to both clinical and basic science research.

NIHR GOSH Biomedical Research Centre (BRC)

We hold NIHR BRC status in recognition of our leading research for the benefit of child health. We are the only specialist BRC for paediatrics.

NIHR GOSH Clinical Research Facility (CRF)

Our Clinical Research Facility (CRF) provides specialist day care accommodation for children and young people taking part in clinical research studies.

Zayed Centre for Research into Rare Disease in Children

The Zayed Centre for Research brings together pioneering research and clinical care to drive new tests, treatments and cures for children with rare and complex diseases. 

Joint R&D office

Our Joint Research and Development (R&D) Office manages research at GOSH and UCL ICH, providing support and guidance during the research process.

ORCHID

Centre for Outcomes and experience Research in Children's Health Illness and Disability (ORCHID) aims to understand the impact of health, illness and disability in children and young people.

UCL GOS Institute of Child Health

With our primary research partner the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, we form the largest centre for paediatric medical research in Europe.

UCL Translational Research Office (TRO)

UCL’s Translational Research Office (TRO) provides integrated support for translational research, industrial partnerships and drug discovery.
