What does being a governor mean to you?
Being able to give something back for the fantastic care GOSH gave to my son.
What are you looking forward to in your role as a governor?
Getting to know more about the inner workings of a world famous hospital and meeting the people who work at GOSH and make it what it is.
What lasting impact would you like to leave as a governor?
What lasting impact would you like to leave as a governor? To have made a difference to children, young people and their families.
What do you admire about GOSH?
The child and patient centred approaches, and the way the staff interact with younger patients, being respectful and informative, but always friendly and kind.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I work full time as a Psychologist, and have two teenage twin boys, so most of my time is already occupied! But when I do get free time I enjoy Yoga and dance fitness classes.
People don't know that...
Before I qualified as a Doctor of Psychology, I danced as a hobby and this turned into semi-professional work during my spare time. I was a warm up act for a few then-famous pop stars at radio roadshows!
