Conditions treated by the Speech and Language Therapy team
The Speech and Language Therapy team at GOSH assess and manage communication and feeding difficulties for children. We see children with the following diagnoses/conditions:
eating,drinking and swallowing difficulties
neurodisability (this includes epilepsy, AAC, visual impairment, autism and language disorders)
cochlear implant (hearing impairment)
cleft palate/velopharyngeal dysfunction
Communication difficulties associated with tracheostomy/Head and Neck
voice disorders
- craniofacial conditions (including Beckwith-Wiedemann)
