Clinics and wards used by the Tracheal service

Which ward you'll visit, will depend on the treatment or investigations your child is having. 

The wards the Tracheal service uses includes:

• Bear Ward (cardiac low and high dependency unit)
• Panther Ward (ear, nose and throat (ENT))
• Woodpecker Ward (same day pre-admission unit)
• Leopard Ward (respiratory)
• Walrus Ward (clinical investigations)
• Flamingo Ward (cardiac intensive care)

Similarly, depending on the nature of the follow-up or clinic assessment your child requires, they may be seen in the following clinics:

• thoracic clinic
• ENT clinic
• respiratory clinic
• cardiology clinic
