Which ward you'll visit, will depend on the treatment or investigations your child is having.
The wards the Tracheal service uses includes:
- Bear Ward (cardiac low and high dependency unit)
- Panther Ward (ear, nose and throat (ENT))
- Woodpecker Ward (same day pre-admission unit)
- Leopard Ward (respiratory)
- Walrus Ward (clinical investigations)
- Flamingo Ward (cardiac intensive care)
Similarly, depending on the nature of the follow-up or clinic assessment your child requires, they may be seen in the following clinics:
- thoracic clinic
- ENT clinic
- respiratory clinic
- cardiology clinic
