In partnership with the UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH), Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is the largest paediatric centre in Europe dedicated to both clinical and basic science research.
We have world-class facilities available to support paediatric research activity.
GOSH NIHR Biomedical Research Centre funding has allowed us to invest in our clinical research infrastructure to support paediatric experimental medicine research activity across Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (ICH).
NIHR Clinical Research Facility (CRF)
The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Clinical Research Facility provides specialist day care accommodation for children and young people taking part in clinical research studies.
Translational Biomarker Discovery Facility (GOSomics)
GOSomics supports the discovery of novel biomarkers and their translation into clinical tests for use by diagnostic laboratories by analysis of protein expression in human tissues and fluids.
Centre for Translational Genomics (GOSgene)
The NIHR BRC funded Centre for Translational Genomics (GOSgene) facilitates the discovery of new genes in rare genetic diseases and therefore the underlying genetic cause of various disorders.
Gene and Cell Therapy Facility
The Gene and Cell Therapy Facility supports complex cell and gene therapy clinical trials through provision of manufacturing sites of gene and cell therapy medicinal products.
