“I’ve met the most courageous, extraordinary and inspiring children in the country whilst witnessing the most incredible pioneering life-changing treatments.” Paul O’Grady

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is delighted that Paul O’Grady is returning with another heart-warming series of ‘Paul Grady’s Little Heroes’ this autumn. The six-part ITV series was filmed at GOSH, and will provide a unique insight into the hospital and the lives of the brave and resilient children who are treated there every day.

Viewers will also have the opportunity to get to know the dedicated staff who care for and treat children from across the UK who have some of the most serious and complex conditions.

Paul O’Grady brings his unique blend of warmth and humour to the hospital as he meets children and young people who travel to GOSH from all corners of the United Kingdom, with each 30-minute episode focusing on two to three children and their journey through their specialist and pioneering treatment.

Filmed at the hospital earlier in the year, the series will see Paul help make GOSH a home from home as he gets stuck in helping children and families through a difficult time in their lives with his trademark compassion and humour. Plus, Paul gets his cook’s hat on to help in the real GOSH kitchen, rolls up his sleeves in the hospital laundry and watches life-saving surgery.

Paul O’Grady says: “It’s been a privilege to return to Great Ormond Street Hospital, meeting children and their families as they face complex medical conditions and treatments.

“I’m so impressed by the incredible dedication of the staff who treat and care for the children and young people at GOSH, everyone from the front-line medical teams to the staff whose jobs are behind the scenes but are just as important.

“I can’t wait for you all to meet the children, young people and brave families who inspired me so much during my time at this very special hospital.”

Every day more than 600 seriously ill children arrive at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) from across the UK. Hear their stories and those of the incredible staff who care for them on Paul O’Grady’s Little Heroes. The first episode airs on Thursday 12 September at 8.30pm on ITV.
