Staff Open

Colours of Autumn by Jennifer Watts

'Connecting with Nature' exhibition open until 22 April 2022

The GOSH Open Exhibition celebrates our vibrant creative community. All of the artworks on display have been created by staff and volunteers from across Great Ormond Street Hospital & UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (ICH). Thank you to everyone who submitted an artwork.

The exhibition is currently on display in the ICH corridor, which can be accessed on the 1st Floor near the Camelia Botnar Laboratories. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions friends/family are not invited to view but feel free to take pictures and if you are sharing on social media please tag @GOSH_Arts.

GOSH Arts offers a dynamic cultural programme for all staff working at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Our 2021-22 programme has been dedicated to the theme of biophilia, highlighting the importance of nature and its positive impact on health and wellbeing. Through our programming and commissions, we will seek to find new, innovative ways to bring nature into the hospital setting.

Many of us have spent time in our natural surroundings during the pandemic and drawn comfort from connecting with nature. We are all equipped with the knowledge of the impact that nature has on our physical and mental health. Perhaps this exhibition serves as a useful reminder! Please encourage your colleagues to visit – it’s a nice opportunity for respite during a busy day.
