Conditions treated by the Neuropsychology department

The Neuropsychology team provides diagnostic assessments of children and adolescents with specific learning and/or behavioural difficulties that are associated with brain injury or disease.

For example:

  • epilepsy
  • Cerebrovascular disorders
  • head injury
  • demyelinating disorders
  • solid brain tumours
  • long-term outcome after cardiac arrest or cardio-respiratory treatment
  • speech and language problems associated with genetic syndromes
  • movement and co-ordination disorders
