• the arrangements for a clinic appointment
• the date of a clinic
• a clinic letter

They can help with non-urgent and non-clinical queries.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist team can offer support and information to families.

As clinical experts they can:

• Answer questions about your child's condition
• Work closely with your child's consultant and local services
• Monitor and adjust your child's treatment.

If you have concerns about your child's condition or need to discuss symptoms of a possible condition relapse, please contact your Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Please note, the Clinical Nurse Specialist team is NOT an emergency service and they are not available 24/7.

If you need urgent and immediate advice please attend your closest A&E.

We do not have an A&E department at GOSH, and cannot urgently review patients. This is why it is essential that your child is linked in with local paediatric services.
