Families and the play team have been working alongside contemporary artist Joceline Howe to develop ideas that will inspire artworks for playrooms in the Premier Inn Clinical Building, due to open in summer 2017.Joceline spent the day on Peter Pan and Bear Wardswith Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) families and play staff to temporarily transform their playrooms and bedrooms. Participants were invited to experiment with colour, shape, light and opaque and translucent materials, transforming the walls, windows and furniture in each room!

The artworks created with families during the sessions will be used by Joceline to inform and develop the final artworks.

GOSH Arts is working with an exciting range of artists to commission new permanent artworks for the Premier Inn Clinical Building. These artworks will help to create welcoming, stimulating and world-class environments for patients, their families and staff. All of the artists are engaging with GOSH patients, families or staff as part of the creative process.

Look out for more opportunities to take part in the commissioning of new artworks for The Premier Inn Clinical Building over the next few months.
