Dr Amrit Roopra is a Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist and has worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital since 2025.
Specialisms
Dr Amrit Roopra practices within all aspects of paediatric anaesthesia with a specialist interest in regional anaesthesia and acute pain, TIVA and pre-operative assessment. She particularly enjoys teaching and simulation training.
Qualifications
Dr Roopra qualified from Cardiff University Medical School in 2013 and subsequently completed all her post-graduate medical training in and around London serving a diverse and medically complex population.

Dr Roopra has a keen subspecialty interest in paediatric anaesthesia having enjoyed the challenges of anaesthetising a range of children of various sizes and co-morbidities and completed subspeciality training at the Royal London Hospital and GOSH.
