Since graduating from the University of Sheffield she has worked as an Orthoptist in a variety of different clinics including adult motility, thyroid eye neuro-ophthalmology, max fax and also paediatric clinics
Subsequent to 5 years of practice in the UK Nakita grew to become more interested in paediatric Ophthalomogy and worked in Lurie Childrens Hospital in Chicago, USA after completing her qualifications to become a certified orthoptist with the American Association.
Research Interests
Nakita has started a new extended role in an area of interest with the Uveitis team where she will also be part taking in research.
