Marina Hughes

Dr Marina Hughes is a paediatric cardiologist, with a special interest in non-invasive imaging. Having trained in the UK and Australia, she is currently the clinical lead for the Cardiac MRI service at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

I am part of a highly motivated clinical and academic team that are constantly developing safer, more detailed, and more accurate ways of imaging, to help give the best decision support for the patients in our care.

  • The clinical correlates of systemic right ventricular function in adults with transposition of the great arteries late after Senning or Mustard surgery.
  • Long term outcomes for patients with Tetralogy of Fallot.
  • Anthracyline-related cardiomyopathy.
