Dr Delane Shingadia is a Consultant in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). 

He also works as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Child Health.

Specialisms

Dr. Shingadia has expertise in the management of a variety of paediatric infectious diseases, including HIV, tuberculosis (TB) and tropical infections including malaria.

Qualifications

  • MBChB DCH DTM&H MPH MRCP FRCPCH
He was the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) representative for the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) TB guidelines as well as the paediatric representative on the Joint Tuberculosis Committee of the British Thoracic Society.

Research Interests

His research interests include infectious diseases epidemiology, infection and immigration and infection in immunocompromised children. He has completed a national surveillance study in TB and malaria through the RCPCH's British Paediatric Surveillance Unit.
