I've been a consultant paediatric anaesthetist at GOSH since 2017. After medical school, I completed specialist training in Cambridge and Norwich, and took fellowships in Simulation and Medical Education (at the University of Ottawa Skills & Simulation Centre), paediatric anaesthesia (at GOSH), and an MRC doctoral training fellowship where I developed automated quantitative methods of measuring persistent behavioural changes after anaesthesia in nematode worms (yes, really...).

I continue to be involved with medical education at GOSH and UCL. I'm the Lead for Simulation Development at GOSH, co-director of the UCL intercalated BSc in Paediatrics and Child Health, and Honorary Associate Professor at UCL GOSH Institute of Child Health (ICH).

I sit on the NICE Technology Appraisals Committee, which considers the clinical and cost effectiveness of new therapies submitted for NHS funding. I'm also a member of the Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists Scientific Committee, and sit on the GOSH Clinical Research Appraisals Committee.

Most of my clinical work is in anaesthesia for paediatric spines and scoliosis surgery, otolaryngology and general surgery.
