Caring for Children and Young People in Critical Care level 1 and 2 (High Dependency)

This module aims to provide learners with an opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills, and competence in relation to children’s high dependency care.

Overview

This module aims to provide learners with an opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills, and competence in relation to children’s critical care level 1 and 2. Learners will develop confidence in their ability to relate the care given to the child and young person whilst referencing the RCPCH (2014) guidelines and PCCS (2021). This module of learning has been designed to allow each learner to define their learning relative to their own critical care level 1 and 2 (high dependency) area of practice and expertise.
