Clinical Simulation Centre
Welcome to the Clinical Simulation Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital Learning Academy. We offer healthcare simulation and training to our colleagues and teams across the hospital, as well as to external candidates, nationally and internationally.
In all our work we seek to uphold the values and standards set out by the Association for Simulated Practice in Healthcare Simulation (ASPiH) with whom we hold accreditation.
We offer courses in a range of modalities, both face-to-face and virtually, from conversational-based simulations with professional actors to fully immersive clinical simulation using high fidelity mannequins and equipment.
Our work is developed with the input of key stakeholders including service-users, and delivered in collaboration with clinical experts in paediatrics. Whether supporting newly qualified staff or experienced consultants, our educators strive to provide a learning experience that is both psychologically safe and tailored to the specific needs of candidates.
