Facilities

Alligator Cardiac Ward has a playroom with toys, games and crafts which you can use during your stay. Our specialist play team can provide age-appropriate play opportunities and help to prepare children for any procedures.

Each bedspace has a TV for access to channels, films and the internet, as well as Wi-Fi so you can connect your own device.

You are a valued member of your child’s healthcare team, and we encourage you to take part their care as much as possible during your stay with us.

Meals will be provided for patients during your stay.

Meals are not provided for parents on the ward but please ask the nursing and housekeeping team during your stay for available voucher schemes. Food and drink can be bought from the Lagoon restaurant and surrounding local area. You are welcome to bring in your own food and drink as there is also a parent’s kitchen which contains a fridge and microwave.
