Quality Improvement Training
The Quality Improvement team provides comprehensive training in improvement methodologies and a range of development opportunities for GOSH staff.
Whether you have an idea for a project or want to learn more about QI, we offer a series of practical sessions, services and tools to support improvement across the Trust and in local areas. These courses and services are available to all staff within the Trust.
QI face to face modules
We offer four 90 minute interactive teaching sessions to provide a comprehensive introduction to quality improvement methodology:
•Starting a QI project
•Data for improvement
•Engaging stakeholders
•Process mapping and Lean methodology
Bespoke sessions
If teams are interested in running a QI session we can often accommodate bespoke sessions focused on one or more of the topics we teach.
Please note we do not currently offer any courses to external agencies.

Driver Diagrams
Driver diagrams are visual tool to help us systematically break down a project into what ‘drives’ or contributes to achieving our project aim. This helps identify change ideas and a measurement plan to focus your project.
