Research at the Social Communication and Autism Spectrum Service

The clinical team at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) works closely with the research department at the Behavioural and Brain Sciences Unit (BBSU) at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (ICH) and can sometimes offer MSc and doctoral research project opportunities with local courses with which we have links, depending on capacity.

We undertake research projects aimed at improving the life experiences of young people on the autism spectrum. We are happy to provide information on current projects on request.

Current projects

We are currently undertaking projects on psychoeducation for young people on the autism spectrum. We have also recently completed projects on transition to adulthood and 22q11 syndrome.
