Anaesthetic Pre-operative Assessment (APOA)
The Anaesthetic Pre-op Assessment (APOA) Unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) prepares children, young people and their families and carers for planned hospital admissions requiring anaesthetic.
At the assessment the APOA team will gather information about your health needs and we aim to provide our families with a good understanding of what will happen during their stay in hospital.
