Pneumonia can affect one or both lungs. It is nearly always due to an infection, caused by either bacteria or viruses, and can make a child very unwell.

Angiography and angioplasty

Angiography is a procedure that allows doctors to look at blood vessels in great detail using X-rays. If the doctors identify a narrowed portion (stenosis) of a blood vessel during the angiography procedure, they may stretch or widen it straightaway using a procedure called an angioplasty.

How to refer

We see children between the age of three years and 16 years, who are suspected as having an autistic spectrum disorder. We accept referrals from all over the UK, if they are eligible for NHS treatment.

The Occupational Therapy team provide inpatient and outpatient care to the Plastic Surgery and Dermatology services. The occupational therapists are available to answer your questions and to offer support to local services that may require additional information regarding your child's needs.
