GOSH Voice

GOSH Voice is our vibrant new coproduction community at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). It is designed to bring together patients, siblings, parents, carers, and extended family to help shape the future of the hospital. It’s all about listening to lived experience, championing diverse voices, and co-creating meaningful change.
The GOSH Young People’s Forum (YPF) and GOSH Youth Alumni Network are integral parts of GOSH Voice.
We also have lots of opportunities, projects and workshops for our members to get involved in. Across the next few months, we have projects looking at teenage healthcare, the new Children’s Cancer Centre, hospital food, the GOSH website, amongst many others.

Coproduction
Coproduction is a way of working in which:
- Patients, families and staff work in equal partnership.
- They are involved at every stage.
- We champion patients' and families' views and inputs.
- We ensure patients' and families’ views are taken seriously and acted on to bring about positive change.
- Listen and to improve the experience of patients and families at GOSH, using a range of inclusive methods to gather views and insights.
- Highlight the issues most important to our members- to champion their views and to put forward their thoughts and ideas.
- To support GOSH to always think about the specific needs of our patients and families.
- To provide opportunities for our members to get involved and build skills and experience.
- To provide opportunities for our members to meet and engage with other patients and families at GOSH.
- To actively work on projects to build a better hospital together.

Accessibility and Inclusion
We appreciate that everyone expresses their views in different ways, and that not everyone expresses themselves verbally. We welcome all patients, siblings and families to become a member of GOSH Voice. We are committed to try and make our projects as inclusive and accessible to everyone as possible.
Please let us know when you sign up what we can do to help yourself or your child take part.
