The GOSH BRC Junior Faculty is pleased to invite ALL early career researchers from across GOSH, ICH and our Paediatric Excellence Initiative partner sites to the next session in its Bitesize Seminar Series about how to secure approvals for you research. The session will be on Wednesday 20 September from 1pm – 2.30pm and will provide an overview from the research governance team on how to navigate the research governance processes so you can set-up and start your research project.

The session will be led by Phil Diamond, George Rawlings and Sanela Anrijac (Research Management and governance officers, from the Joint GOSH and ICH R&D office) who will give the talks. They will be Joined by Neil Hubbard (Research Governance Manager) and Vanshree Patel (Head of Governance)- to answer any questions attendees may have.

Background

The NIHR GOSH BRC Junior Faculty is running a seminar series of educational topics for early career researchers. There will be six seminars every year focusing on skills to help give researchers training and networking opportunities to help in their academic careers.

We welcome all early career researcher colleagues including clinicians, PhD students, post-docs, nursing and AHP staff and any others not mentioned here from across GOSH, ICH and our partner sites within the paediatric excellence initiative.

Event

This seminar in the series is on 'How to secure approvals for your research' and will be held on Wednesday 20 September from 1pm - 2.30pm. It will be a hybrid event, with attendees joining online via Zoom and in person in the Ryan Connolly Room in the Zayed Centre for Research.
