Working Together to Strengthen Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) in Research.

As we grow our PPIE community we remain committed to creating meaningful, diverse and inclusive opportunities for patients, parent carers and members of the public to help shape and strengthen the research we deliver.

Each year, we collaborate on new research projects and are offered new opportunities that broaden the scope and reach of our PPIE activity.

Working together, we support and partner with research active staff to carry out high quality PPIE and to demonstrate the difference this makes to research practice and outcomes.

Our PPIE Strategy is aligned with the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) UK Standards for Public Involvement, ensuring we continue to embed and promote best practice across all our work.
