2 Apr 2026, 12:32 p.m.

As you may be aware, some of our Resident Doctors will be taking part in planned industrial action from 7am on Tuesday 7 April to 7am on Monday 13 April.

Please be reassured that providing safe care for our patients and families remains our priority, and we are working hard to continue to best support all our patients and families. Please do still come to the hospital as planned unless you’re advised otherwise by your clinical team.

Who can I speak to if I have further questions?

This is a difficult situation, and we know that this may cause you added worry or concern. Please speak to your clinical team or contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)if you have any further questions:

Finally, we want to thank our patients, families and carers for their understanding at this difficult time.
