Amanda Rajkumar appointed as Non-Executive Director

Great Ormond Street Hospital has appointed Amanda Rajkumar as a new Non-Executive Director. Ms Rajkumar was previously an associate Non-Executive Director and took up her role as a substantive Non-Executive Director on 1 December 2025.
Ms Rajkumar brings a wealth of global leadership experience across the financial services, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), arts, and education sectors. Her career spans over two decades, including executive board roles at adidas and BNP Paribas, where she led people strategies for organisations with tens of thousands of employees, often during periods of significant transformation and scrutiny.
Ms Rajkumar holds a BSc in Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London, and began her career as a research psychologist before moving into recruitment and HR leadership. Following eight years abroad in Europe and the US, she recently returned to London to continue her portfolio career in advisory work, HR Strategy and leadership development.
Ms Rajkumar also has extensive experience in non-executive and trustee roles. As Chair of the Black British Initiative, Amanda guided the charity’s strategic vision and governance, helping deliver executive education to over 180 entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities. Her previous board roles include trustee of Musica Sacra, New York, and board member of BNP Paribas Commodity Futures Limited.
