Adam White appointed as Non-Executive Director

Adam brings over 20 years’ experience in financing, procuring and delivering complex real estate projects.

Adam is an Executive Director within CBRE’s UK Development Advisory team, where he leads multidisciplinary teams on major healthcare, housing and mixeduse schemes for NHS Trusts, local authorities, universities and government bodies.

His recent advisory work includes projects such as the North Manchester General Hospital – Healthy Neighbourhood redevelopment, Cambridge Science Park, the Sister innovation district in Manchester, and Weavers Cross in Belfast.

Adam is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), and has also served as Chair of This City, Manchester City Council’s £450 million affordable housing company, where he helped establish a pipeline of more than 1,500 low carbon homes, including a significant proportion at Manchester Living Rent.

Adam also brings extensive Non-Executive experience. He has served on the Board of LTE Group, the UK’s largest provider of further education and skills, for over seven years, chairing the Investment & Estates Strategy Group overseeing a £200 million transformation of the organisation’s estate. He also sits on LTE Group’s Audit & Risk Committee.

His professional interests include health, education, housing and inclusive growth, with a particular focus on aligning capital investment with environmental sustainability and social value. Adam has contributed to Manchester’s Net Zero New Build City Challenge, supports CBRE’s UK Social Value Committee, and is an advocate for the Regeneration Brainery, inspiring young people to pursue careers in property and regeneration.

Based in Manchester with his family, Adam is committed to bringing a regional perspective to the GOSH Board, reflecting that more than half of GOSH’s patients live outside of London.
