A new CEO for Great Ormond Street Hospital

Karl Munslow Ong has joined GOSH as its new Chief Executive.

Karl has more than two decades of experience across a range of high-performing NHS organisations, and was most recently Deputy Chief Executive of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.

At the end of his first week in post, Karl said: “This week I've seen first-hand what makes GOSH so special: the dedication, skill and compassion of colleagues across the organisation, and the extraordinary care provided to children and families every day."

Update for patients and families on industrial action - June 2026

Some of our resident doctors at Great Ormond Street Hospital will be taking part in planned industrial action from 7am on 15 June until 6.59am on 19 June.
