Event Overview:
The programme provides an opportunity to dive into evolving knowledge of inborn errors of immunity (IEI) including HLH, DADA2, IEI with immune dysregulation, explore latest advances in pathophysiology, lab diagnostics and cutting-edge treatments while engaging in dynamic discussion with peers.
Includes a special session on the influence of biologics on the immune system.
Learning objectives:
- Understand the pathophysiology, clinical features and diagnostic criteria of immune dysregulation disorders (e.g. HLH, DADA2, STAT1 dysfunction, LRBA, APDS, IPEX) and their overlap with autoimmunity/immunodeficiency.
- Apply advances in lab diagnostics and personalised medicine to tailor therapies for IEI.
- Integrate interdisciplinary approaches (genetics, rheumatology, haematology and immunology) to optimise diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of complex immune disorders.
- Develop actionable strategies using case-based scenarios to translate emerging science into clinical practice for improved patient outcomes.
