Advancing Practice Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
The Advancing Practice (AP) education team at the GOSH Learning Academy deliver a portfolio of training across the four pillars of advancing practice.
We aim to deliver CPD education to all registered professionals wishing to expand their practice through our Advancing Practice series. We offer courses to develop a learner’s portfolio in Clinical Practice, Leadership, Research and Education.

This online event explores the research pillar of Advancing Practice and has been designed to increase knowledge and transform research skills. This will provide practitioners with a range of concepts and tools to contribute to developments in their profession, tackling common research problems.

AP series - Paediatric Examination Skills
Are you a trained Advanced Practitioner, needing to expand your skill set to be able to examine children? Do you have the desire to expand your current scope of practice? Join us to learn more about the nuances of paediatric examination in this three day course.

Safe Prescribing in Children and Young People
This half day virtual update course is for all prescribers who routinely prescribe medicines for children and young people. You will explore contemporaneous issues and challenges in initiating, monitoring, and modifying medicines to develop and maintain safe and effective prescribing practices. You will network with other independent prescribers and discuss topics and pathways on a national level.

Paediatric Study Day for Physician Associates - In person (London) and online
The second annual GOSH Paediatric Physician Associate Study Day aims to increase your knowledge and understanding of clinical paediatrics through a variety of interactive lectures.
