The Flutter®

This page explains about the Flutter® and what to expect when your child comes to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). The Flutter® is part of the treatment to help people who have difficulty clearing sputum (phlegm) from their lungs.

Bubble PEP

PEP stands for positive expiratory pressure. Bubble PEP is a treatment to help children at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) who have a build up of phlegm (secretions) in their lungs. 

Kidney biopsy

A biopsy is a small sample of tissue taken from any area of the body so it can be examined under a microscope. A sample of kidney tissue may be taken using an endoscope (a thin, flexible tube with a bright light and camera).
