This module provides practitioners with an opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills and competence in caring for children and young people with an orthopaedic or spinal condition.

Overview

This module will equip learners with the knowledge and understanding to care for children and young people with orthopaedic and spinal conditions. The module is led by an experienced educator and delivered with specialist, expert members of the multi-disciplinary team who utilise extensive experience to support their teaching. The module will promote critical analysis of current research and guidelines which they can implement in their practice to deliver evidence-based care. Critical thinking and sharing of practice between candidates will also be utilised throughout the module to support the development of best practice.
