Nimmi Parikh
Dr Nimmi Parikh is a Clinical Psychologist. She has worked within the Metabolic Medicine and Neurodisability Service at Great Ormond Street Hospital since 2017.

Dr Parikh has worked with the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist assessments within the Neurometabolic clinic, Developmental Epilepsy Clinic and Developmental Vision Service. She also works with children and families within the Metabolic Medicine team.

  • Developmental and neuropsychological assessment of inherited metabolic disorders
  • Therapeutic work with children and families affected by a metabolic condition 
  • Assessment and management of behaviors which challenge and mental health difficulties in children with intellectual disability
  • Assessing the development of children with visual impairment

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Royal Holloway, University of London)
  • Bsc Psychology (University College London)
