The GOSH Escape Room

This month marks one year since we introduced a new approach to team training in the form of a simulation escape room.
The Escape Room initiative aims to boost morale whilst providing an opportunity to practice team-working skills and support interprofessional education.
So far, 8 teams from across the hospital have taken part in the Escape Room, sharing positive accounts of how the exercise will impact on aspects of practice such as teamwork and communication.
Following the initial success of the escape room, we aim to offer more opportunities for teams to take part in 2024. Watch this space for updates on the next round of sessions.
