The CQC’s inspection report was published in January 2016 and overall rated the Trust as ‘good’.

Waiting times

Referral to treatment time (RTT)

Referral to treatment. Percentage of people waiting less than 18 weeks for treatment from referral:  90.75% (Target 92%)

We resumed reporting this data in March 2017 with our January 2017 performance.

Diagnostic waits. Percentage of patients waiting less than six weeks for a diagnostic test, such as a scan, from the point of request:  98.93% (Target 99%)


C Difficile Infections - Number of C Difficile cases this year: 13 (Target: under 15)

Patient friends and family test - inpatients. Percentage of patients and families likely to recommend our inpatient services to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment in December 2017:  95.48%

The friends and family test is a national survey that asks “how likely are you to recommend our services to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?” This score shows the percentage of staff who work at GOSH and would recommend treatment at GOSH to others.
