How to get involved in research at GOSH
We know that patients at hospitals that are learning and making improvements through research and innovation do better - they have more confidence in their care, they feel more informed and they have better clinical outcomes.
I'm a patient or a parent of a patient and we want to take part in research
Please speak to your clinical team about research opportunities that you can be part of - research at GOSH is happening everywhere, from the Play team to our physiotherapists, intensive care and surgery.
Although we do not have a database of all the research studies currently running at GOSH, you can search for ongoing clinical trials for specific conditions through the "Be Part of Research" website or ClinicalTrials.gov
How you can get involved if you're not eligible for a research study
At GOSH we connect healthcare professionals, scientists, researchers and innovators with patients, their families and the public to improve the lives of children with rare and complex diseases.
You don't have to be in a traditional research study to contribute to research and innovation. For example, you could sign up to the GOSH Sample Bank, answer questions about how you feel about new technologies or try advising on research studies!
