Nurse reunion tours

Each year Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) welcomes back many nurses who previously trained here, and who wish to see how the hospital has changed and developed since their time at GOSH.

We are always delighted to host these tours, however with up to 4 sets of nurses trained a year at GOSH we do need to be mindful of the impact on the current hospital staff and those currently in training.

We ask that anyone wishing to organise a tour contacts Di Robertshaw in the first instance:

Organising a date and time

Due to the staff required to assist with the tours, our preference is to host the tour during the working week. Afternoons are generally a more convenient time.

How the tours work

The sets are split into groups of 4 or 5 and are taken on a guided tour by a member of staff or volunteer. Where possible, we aim to take the nurses to areas of specific interest to them but we cannot take visitors onto ward areas.

We know that many sets will be keen to meet for lunch. There are a number of restaurants in the vicinity of the hospital and we have our own on site canteen, The Lagoon.

Keeping updated with the work of the hospital

We encourage former members of staff to become a Foundation Trust member. Membership is free and, as a member, we will keep you updated with the work of the hospital through the newsletter 'Member Matters'.
