Pathway to Independence Programme

BRC Educational event - June 2018

CLOSED: The Royal Marsden Hospital (RMH) BRC is arranging a two-day residential course, “Pathway to Independence”, on 19 and 20 November in Cambridge. The course is aimed at early career Clinical Academics interested in becoming independent researchers, in particular those that are thinking of applying for a Clinician Scientist Fellowship within the next 6-18 months. The programme is focused on the skills needed to apply for a clinician scientist fellowship and to deliver that research. Participants should hold, or be in their final year of, a research doctorate (PhD/MD).

Please see the RMH website for further details

Each BRC has been asked to nominate one firm candidate to participate, along with a reserve list of two other candidates that may be able to apply should other BRCs not fill their quota. We have been asked to confirm our nominations to the RMH by Tuesday 28 August.
