Applied Clinical Informatics
The Rare Disease Cohorts theme will be transforming into an Applied Child Health Informatics (ACHI) theme, as part of the GOSH BRC renewal.
We will be posting updates on this transformation here, including a recent (virtual) stakeholder engagement meeting with the GOSH-ICH community.
RDC Engagement Event (Feb 2021)
On February 11th 2021, the RDC theme held an engagement event attended by ~100 people across GOSH-ICH. The first half of the meeting focused on the impact of the theme across this BRC cycle (2017-2022), including updates on some rare disease cohorts based at GOSH-ICH and the 5 pump prime projects funded by the theme. The second half of the meeting focused transforming RDC into an Applied Child Health Informatics theme, with Ruth Gilbert & Neil Sebire presenting on this vision. We finished with a Q&A/discussion session on how best this new theme can help the GOSH-ICH community. Please follow the link below to see the presentations and discussion (video).
