Kjell Tullus

Dr Tullus has been a Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital since 2002. 

Dr Tullus has published more than 210 peer-reviewed papers, reviews and book chapters. He has tutored three PhD and one MD students.

Dr Tullus got his basic medical training at the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden where he also did his PhD thesis. He got his training as paediatrician and paediatric nephrologist in Stockholm Sweden where he then worked as a consultant until 2002 when he moved to GOSH.

Research Interests

His main research interests are inflammatory kidney diseases including lupus, hypertension (high blood pressure) including renovascular hypertension (high blood pressure caused by narrowing of the renal arteries). He has done studies on a number of other kidney diseases.
