Time To Remember 2024 (formerly Annual Memorial Service)

We will be holding our annual Time To Remember on Saturday 27 April 2024 at 2.30pm. The event will take place at St George The Martyr Church, 44 Queen Square. WC1N 3AH.

This is a non-religious gathering, where people of all faiths and none are welcome. It has been designed to offer the opportunity for bereaved families to come together to honour a much-loved child who has died.

Our time together will include contemplative music, readings, and reflections. There will also be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of your child and to view the books of remembrance should you wish to do so. Some families like to bring a framed photograph of their child which can be placed on a table for the duration of the afternoon and taken home afterwards.

Staff and volunteers from our multi-faith chaplaincy and spiritual care team will be present for listening, support and conversation, as will staff from the family liaison nursing team and bereavement service. Staff from the play team will also be present to offer memorial craft activities for siblings.

For the privacy of those who attend, this service will not be streamed online. However, some memorial resources will be made on this webpage nearer the time, should you want some guidance on holding your own act of remembrance privately at home.

To help us to ensure we have adequate seating and refreshments,Please let us know if you would like to attend the Time to Remember Event. The details gathered when you complete this form will be used solely for the purposes of the 2024 Time to Remember event.
