Charlotte Dawson

Charlotte has been the Clinical Nurse Specialist within the Cystic Fibrosis team at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) since 2004 following 10 years clinical nursing on the specialist respiratory unit, Badger Ward.Her current role includes co-ordinating the care and support for approximately 200 cystic fibrosis patients between the ages of 0-18 years at GOSH (specialist centre), local hospitals and within the community.

Qualifications

Charlotte received her RSCN qualification in 1994 after successful completion of her training at both GOSH and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, London.

She regularly attends and participates in national and international conferences and is the vice chair of the UK National Cystic Fibrosis Nurses Association (CFNA).

Research Interests

Charlotte has presented oral and poster presentations at the North American and European Cystic Fibrosis Conferences and organised workshops for the Royal College of Nurses Conference.
