Ronit Pressler
She has worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital for over ten years and is currently the clinical lead of the EEG-video telemetry unit and Associated Professor in Clinical Neuroscience at UCL Institute of Child Health.

Specialisms
She is one of very few clinical neurophysiologists in this country who specialises in the EEG of children.
Her specialisms include:
- neonatal seizures and neonatal EEG
- presurgical evaluation of children with complex epilepsy
- effect of EEG changes on cognition and behaviour
Qualifications
She qualified from Berlin University in 1992 (equivalent to MB BS) and trained in paediatrics in Berlin, Germany, Clinical Neurophysiology at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London.

Research Interests
Her research interests concentrates currently on neonatal seizures, particularly their diagnosis, classification and treatment, and the effect of epilepsy on cognition. She has published widely on neonatal seizures and neonatal EEG. Currently she is chair of the neonatal seizure task force of the International League Against Epilepsy and director of an international course on EEG in neonates and infants.
