Úna McCrann

Úna McCrann is a Highly Specialist Feeding Disorder Practitioner; she has worked at Great Ormond Street since March 2005.

She is also Lead Nurse within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service as well as Specialty Lead for the Department; she provides assessment and advice to other professionals across the Hospital in her Liaison role within the Feeding Disorder Team.

Specialisms

Specialisms include Feeding Disorders in infants and children, child development and the relationship between infants and mothers (attachment).

Qualifications

RGN, Dip in Nurse Education, HV, RN Child, Systemic Practitioner.

Úna McCrann trained as an Adult Nurse at St Mary’s Paddington; she converted to a Paediatric Nurse at City University, and completed her systemic practitioner training at the Institute of Family Therapy.

Research Interests

Current research interests include parental anxiety in relation to having children with Feeding Disorders. Mother/child interaction and group work.
