Feeding Disorders Team (DCAMH)
The occupational therapist works alongside the multi-disciplinary team to assess children with avoidant and restrictive feeding difficulties and pica.
The therapist provides advice regarding seating, development of independent feeding skills and sensory sensitivities. We liaise closely with local teams and schools to provide advice around goal setting, environmental set up and sensory strategies to support progress with feeding.
