Junior doctors nationwide have voted to take industrial action from 8 am to 5 pm on Tuesday 26 April and Wednesday 27 April.Our senior medical team will be working to ensure emergency treatment is carried out as needed. However, some planned treatment will need to be rescheduled and we will be contacting any families affected directly in advance of the industrial action.

The parents and carers of patients whose appointments will need to be rearranged will be contacted by telephone. If you have not heard from Great Ormond Street Hospital please be reassured your child’s appointment is going ahead as planned so please come to the hospital as usual.
