The Times newspaper has published this year's list of 'Britain's Top Children's Doctors', which includes many of Great Ormond Street Hospital's experts. Some of our best known staff were credited for their skills and contribution in their field of expertise, alongside their counterparts based at other national paediatric centres. Among them were Professor Martin Elliot, GOSH's Co-Medical Director and clinical lead for the tracheal service, Dr Peppy Brock, Consultant Paediatric Oncologist, Dr Mary Glover, Consultant Paediatric Dermatologist and Dr Allan Goldman, Consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care, to name but a few.

The magazine also included an extended feature about the Levin family, who were treated at GOSH and Guy's and St Thomas' in 2011. The article features an interview with Antony Levin, who donated his kidney to daughter Jade, now 11. Son Keegan is also a patient at GOSH.

The renal team at GOSH involved in the kidney transplant are recognised for their incredible skill and teamwork. Among them are Dr Stephen Marks, Consultant, Paediatric Nephrologist, Maria Scanes, Transplant Co-ordinator and Jackie Burns, Senior Staff Nurse.

This is the third issue of The Times Top Doctors. This year, the focus is on the specialists who treat Britain's youngest patients. The list is not exhaustive, but is a glimpse of the pioneering doctors and surgeons who are transforming children's lives.
