London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children is recognised across the world as one of the few truly world-class hospitals for children. We have a long and proud history in treating the world’s most seriously ill children.
Every year we receive more than 268,000 patients visits from all over the world who are suffering from the most complicated, and often life threatening, medical conditions.
Our patients range in age from newborn to 16 years old, although most are under eight.
Our new specialist Harris International Patient Centre has 30 inpatient beds plus four bone marrow transplant/isolation beds, eight medical and surgical daycare beds, and a four bedded daycare area, plus outpatients’ facilities.
